How to Fish
To start fishing, purchase a Fishhook from the Fishhook Seller and interact with one of the three fishing spots on Starter Island, located near the NPC.
Fishing efficiency—such as speed, drop quantity, and loot rarity—can be improved with different Bait types, Fishhook Upgrades, the Golden Fishhook, and the Lucky Wisp.
Bait
Bait is purchased and equipped at the Bait Seller on Runes Isle. While not explicitly stated in-game, higher-level bait increases the rarity of loot in addition to reducing fishing time.
Bait types:
- Golden Bait: -5 seconds fishing time
- Enhance Bait: -10 seconds fishing time
- Limitbreak Bait: -15 seconds fishing time
- Enhanced Limitbreak Bait: -17 seconds fishing time
Fishhook Upgrades
Fishhooks can be enhanced through the Fishhook Upgrader on Starter Island and upgraded directly by purchasing the Golden Fishhook from the Fishhook Seller.
- Each level of upgrade via the Fishhook Upgrader increases the number of drops by +1.
- The Golden Fishhook also adds +1 drop and increases the rarity of loot.
Additionally, owning a Lucky Wisp reduces fishing time. For more details, check the associated card in-game.
